York Pre-Game Notes

Today’s game will be played at the Yorktown Middle School field, which is located at 11201 George Washington Memorial Hwy, Yorktown, VA 23690. Kickoff is scheduled 4:30 pm. There have been bleachers on this field in the past, but would recommend bringing a folding chair just in case they have been moved. As has been the case this season, there is a fee of $3.00 for all adults and children over the elementary school age.

Weather will potentially be an issue today with thunderstorms forecast in the area. It could be a game time decision based on the call of the Athletic Director for Yorktown Middle School, but as soon as I hear anything, I will send a Remind 101 alert to the group. Please be on the lookout for any updates throughout the afternoon.

Our return back to back at Berkeley should be around 7:00 pm. However, if we play our normal 5th quarter scrimmage after the game, our arrival could be as late as around 7:30 pm. Again, weather could play an issue on when we arrive back to BMS. Upon arrival at BMS, we will get our game pants and jerseys turned in for cleaning and then dismiss the team to grab their post-game meal.

Finally, the information and cash order forms for team spirit wear has been out for a couple of days now. As stated in the post on the spirit wear, if ordering on line, the deadline is this Sunday, the 15th of October. For cash orders, the cut off for turning in cash is this Friday (13th of October) at the end of practice. Also, for those who still have their athletic fee forms, don’t forget about turning them in.

We look forward to another great turn out of Bulldog fans as we take on York.
